There’s romantic leanings but I wouldn’t classify it as a romance entirely. On the surface it’s about an elementary teacher who has an affair with a student’s parent. Explores (or tries to explore) themes of Asian identity, fraught mother-daughter relationships, and queer desire.
Thank you so much! It's a horror/fantasy about shapeshifting twins who clash over how to use their ability. One of them is kind of a trickster figure who is devolving into more intentional cruelty in their younger years, leading to an event that separates the twins. In the present day they are unexpectedly reunited, chaos ensues. A tale of sisterhood, revenge, identity.
